Help with upgrading my gaming pc!!

My friend currently has rtx 1070 but he’s currently experiencing some lags while playing games and he wants to upgrade to an rtx 4060… but my concern is that his motherboard is Hp Tampa 2 (8437). Please will the motherboard be compatible with the 4060 or does he have upgrade the motherboard too?


If it’s not compatible, pls do u have any suggestions?

Nvidia recommends a 550W power supply but they usually account for a full out system such as an i9 so I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess your psu will work for that card.
