Hello. I wasn't sure which category to put this in so I put it in both. I have a gaming laptop and a custom desktop. So I ran a few benchmarks on both to see which one performed better. The benchmarks were from 3D Mark and Novabench . From what I understand from the scores the desktop performed better . So I'm not understanding that since the laptop has higher specs . Could anyone on here explain what could be going on? Ive never used benchmarks before. I'm worried something might be wrong . Also the laptop has a tendency to get hot when gaming so if anyone knows of a fan control program that works for laptops I would appreciate the suggestion. The links to the benchmark scores will be under the specs .
Thanks in advance for any help .
