Question GTA 4 crashes

GTA 4 on PC launches and I can hit start but then black screen and kicks me out. I have tried some troubleshooting but nothing works. I haven't been able to play for 3 years now and Rockstar is the biggest joke. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try to delete all the files of the game, except for one. And then do an integrity check of the game. Unless, of course, you play through Steam.

Alternatively uninstall the game and reinstall with all the fixes and patches which have been issued in the past few years.
