GTA San Andreas Crashing

GTA San Andreas launches on my PC and I can press Start, but right after that it goes to a black screen and then closes to desktop. I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps over the years, but nothing has worked so far.

I haven’t been able to play the game for a while, which is really disappointing. If anyone has experienced this or knows a possible fix, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

I probably wont know much, but it would help others to know what exact version of the game youre trying to play and what Windows version you have on your PC.

Also what prcessor and graphics card is in your PC.

Did you try compatibility mode? I assume so, just checking. Making Windows use WIn me mode might help

amazed to find win me compatibility mode still exists in 10/11 (tries to forget ME... that OS was so much fun)
