Question GPU upgrade RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT

I want to upgrade my gpu and I am between RTX 3070 and. RX 6700 XT

Apart of gaming I am also using blender and Unreal Engine



I have two questions for the RX 6700 XT ,
1) I will see a difference in rendering because of the 12 GB VRAM ?
2)Will be any performance boost because I have the Ryzen 7 3700X?

What GPU are you on currently? Please understand that your power requirements will also go up if you're performing an upgrade tier wise for the GPU.

I have a 1000W Psu

1000W is the advertised wattage for the unit, for the sake of relevance, please include the make and model of your current PSU and it's age. You didn't answer my initial question though.
