Get tabbed out of game when trying to type in chat

Hello all. Ever game I play that has a chat feature tabbed me out when I try to type normally. If I type reeeeeally slow it'll let me, but at regular speeds it tabs out. Usually happens when I hit the spacebar or the enter key. Any thoughts?

Gotta be some sort of MMOs... or not so massively multiplayer. I thought it might be some weirdness in the keyboard but pinkblob was able to type that message out just fine. <shrug>
