My kids have played Terraria, Stardew Valley, and Mindcrap since they were about 6 years old.

My kids have played Terraria, Stardew Valley, and mindcrap since they were about 6 years old.

Stardew Valley is also a favourite of my kid and probably the one with the easiest controls for her.

I should note that she pretty much never follows the objective of any game she plays though, she'll make up her own games. With Stardew Valley we often play house where she pretends the community centre is a school.

OP, it just depends on the kids. How old they are, etc. Wizard101 is a great game for kids, as is MInceraft Those are what my own kids played. We won't talk about the time I let Guido play GTA V or how I gave them both nightmares letting them watch me play Resident Evil IV

A friend of mine recommended Five Night at Freddy's. He said his children were less loud in the room while playing the game, though they looked a bit pale at dinner.

Starbound is pretty friendly. I'd recommend that myself.
