Question Game performance lower than in the past

What are some things that can be causing lower performance in games? I am not overheating and my SSD is only 60% full.

To confirm, I did a comparison between my buddies PC with lower specs and he was getting higher frames in the same games with the same settings.

Open to any suggestions on things I can check, tinker with, reset,etc. Thanks a lot for reading!
