First PC Build Question

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and about to attempt my first ever PC build tomorrow.

I've basically got all my components with the exception of the graphics card as I am awaiting the release of the 5080 and its reviews which will determine whether I will bite the bullet on the 5080 or just go with the 4080 or 4070.

Now, I am using the Ryzen 9900x processor and I want to know if I can POST without the GPU (as I don't have one yet). From my google search on the internet I have read conflicting reports that the "X" series Ryzen processors do not have an integrated GPU in the processor. On the other hand, I have read reviews of the 9900x which specify that it comes with an integrated graphics chip

All I want to do is check my build via POST and if I get really game, install windows.

If all else fails I will wait till after the 31st to check my build.

Yes, you can use a 9900X without a dedicated/stand alone GPU. They all have an integrated GPU.
