So I can get two builds for basically the same price, One with better tech but worse ram that I'll need to upgrade (hopefully when prices come down). Any advice?

Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus Wi-Fi DDR5 AM5 mATX Motherboard
ASUS Dual Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 Graphics Card
Crucial Pro OC 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR5 6400MT/s CL38 UDIMM RAM - Black
Crucial P510 1TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe 2280 M.2 SSD with Heatsink

GIGABYTE B850M FORCE WIFI6E rev 1.0 AM5 mATX Motherboard
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5060 Ti WINDFORCE OC 16G Graphics Card
XPG Lancer Blade RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 RAM - Black
PNY CS2241 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD

What CPU do they have or are these bundles?

Which do you classify as better? from comments I have to assume 1st?

GPU:
the two gpu are comparable, depends on the application/game as to which wins
You may be surprised where they end up on this chart
But that is based on value, not necessarily performance, or the 5090 would be first.

Motherboard/SSD:
A Gen5 Nvme will only run at same speed as the PNY one, in the top Gigabyte motherboard.
Only has gen4 slots

The bottom Motherboard does support Gen5 drives (if you install a 7000/9000 series CPU, if you use an APU its only Gen4), so it would better suit the gen5 SSD. It will only run the PNY ssd at gen 4 speeds.

in other words, the ssd wouldn't be something I base purchase on, as you get same speed on both drives.

The B850M may end up supporting more newer CPU compared to the 650M. May... never know with Gigabyte. They normally pretty good. Depends if you are thinking long term.

RAM:
6000 is sweet spot for Ryzen.

Dual channel is way better than 1 stick... Ryzen is much better with 2 sticks. I ran on one stick for a few days on this PC, it was painful and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Having 2 sticks makes start up so much faster

With the uncertainty around ram prices today, I would grab the 2nd one, just as it has 32gb of ram now.
Its scary that the ram I bought in May is now selling for $700 here.
correction to price: $AUD995.00 (my pc worth more in packages at this rate)
My current PC:
