Hey everyone,

I'm coming from console gaming so this would be my first attempt at a build. I have been doing some intense research over the last week or so and put together this part this and was hoping for some quick advice before purchasing.

I am working with a budget around $1500AUD just for the parts, as peripherals are sorted! Any advice on the current parts I have chosen that may be unnecessary or cheaper options are available would be greatly appreciated.

This PC would purely be for gaming, ideally being able to run new AAA games and MMORPG smoothly with high fps, (Halo, Elder Scrolls, Battlefront ect), with the intention of not having to alter the PC for a couple of years.

What are your thoughts? All advice is so welcome as I am new to all of this!

Thanks for reading.

i would spend less on the motherboard unless you plan on overclocking (B550 should be ok)
i would hold off the 2060 as there are new cards out / coming out that should either be better or make them cheaper
i would add an SSD for the OS and use the HDD for storage

looks good, 2060 wise it depends how desperate you are to get it built, rumours of a 3060 ti due 2nd Dec, which is aparently above a 2080 would hopefully be a similar cost under £400

the 2060 super was a boosted original 2060, have a google (2060 vs other cards) to get an idea

both of those are good cards, check out reviews and benchmarks to see if one leans more to your type of games etc
