I'm not interested (yet) in getting a gpu better than the 6600xt, as that'll be plenty for me for now. I was just wondering if you trust them. I found a sapphire pulse 6600xt for a little less elsewhere.

The website says the RAM voltage exceeds (1.5v)the recommended voltage of the cpu (1.44v). Does that matter?

Question - First build help

I need some advice on my first build. I need to be able to do 3D modeling on it and run games reasonably well (the most demanding game would probably be apex) at 1080 at least. The software I'm using is SolidWorks, which I know prioritizes the gpu. I'm looking at either a Ryzen 5600 (G, X, or...

Long term use of 1.5v could be detrimental to you build. I missed that part about the voltage being at 1.5. Yes you can run it at that voltage just that you'd need to keep an eye out on your system. Being a newcomer, it's best you play it safe.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I didn't think it was that big of a deal. And you aren't to blame, I'm just glad I saw that

You can actually run the rams to 1.5v...it's just beyond what JEDEC states is "safe" then comes the matter about the Integrated Memory Controller (IMC)on the CPU, meaning that it's possible that the platform might burn out sooner than later.
