Facebook help please. Hacked question.

Ok I said in another post my old Facebook account got hacked. It has been almost 2 years now. I read online if it has been over a year they can do nothing. He changed the name, password, email etc.... i have been able to do nothing. Yesterday he had a Birthday. People I knew wished him a happy birthday. I visited the page. He has hidden the friends list. He is doing shady things with it. Real shady but subtle like the Star Trek TNG episode Conspiracy.

I would like to get rid of it and him. But I cannot do a dang thing. Do you all have any advice?. Is it too late to do anything about it? I want it and him gone. I am stumped. and need some suggestions. Thanks.

If you've done all the things they tell you to do exactly as they tell you to do them, and it didn't work, and you called them on the phone, and you still couldn't get your account back, then it's gone for good. What you should do at this point is start a new account and warn everyone that the person using your old account is a criminal who might try to scam them, steal their passwords, etc.

Then you need to sit down and understand why you lost your account so that you won't lose any more accounts. Your account didn't just get hacked, you gave it away somehow (using a compromised password, typing your password into a non-Facebook site, etc). You need to figure out how that happened.

I did that along time ago I had too. I did not call them. As far as I know there is no number? And they have zero customer support. He is doing shady things with my old account. He has got my old pictures etc.. So is there anything at all that can be done? And if there is a number what is it?

I never gave my password to a non Facebook site. I know how it happend. One day almost 2 years ago I forgot my Facebook password. I created a new account. then I remembered the old account password. I put on the old one a message it is still up on the old account. I am using the new one. So I had both accounts. I used mostly the new one.

So one day a person took it over changed the name, password, email etc... I could never get it back. I changed internet providers email etc.. . I done what I could. He is doing shady things with it. And I want it deleted. I have no info to give him to get it back? Facebook has no customer service whatsoever. He clearly hacked it. I may have clicked on a link on Facebook? My friend had it on his page and he took it down.

If I report it will Facebook check into it and think he is me and delete my account? My mother put a message on the page almost 2 years ago. He deleted it. And hid the friends list. has new friends I do not have. One posted happy birthday on the page. I read online someone reported theirs and they clicked on try something else. He got something sent to his phone or new phone? And it let him back in? If so I want to do that and delete his a**. And delete my Facebook account I am currently and start over so he cannot find me.

I read online that someone did just that deleted their account to start over and they got permanently banned. But they did not get hacked just wanted to start over. I read you can only create one account forever and if deleted you cannot create another one? And you do you have to change your friends list, name, Email account etc.. and if they think it is you they ban you forever?

Don't do anything else with that website I linked you to. Just grab the numbers and emails. They have correct information, but have a history of poor behavior in other aspects.

Don't hire a hacker to hack Facebook unless you want to go to jail.

Other than that, I don't know what you want. Your writing is all over the place and nearly incomprehensible. I assume you are not a native English speaker, so that's okay, but I'm not in the mood to pick through it.

I've told you all I can tell you. Call the number above and follow the steps. If that doesn't work, move on with your life. And stop thinking about hiring a hacker. You could attempt to phish him by posting on his timeline, but that could potentially get you permanently banned from Facebook, and possibly worse, and I suggest that you don't do it. No offense, but you don't seem like the kind of person who could pull that off, anyway.

Whilst i sympathise with your problem you have given a perfect example of why i stopped using all form of social media apart from snapchat .

I set up a Facebook account many years ago just because i wanted to play a couple of time wasting games and the minimum requirements for an account were email address and name. When i saw how many different things you could put on a profile i decided NOT to make a profile. Many weeks later i started getting messages from Facebook saying somebody had left me a message ???? Just in case it was fake i logged into the link on a spare pc that i dont use very often. It would not accept my password as it had been changed and all i had to do was click forgot password then change it and i was in.

I had a huge profile that was NOT me and i had over 200 so called friends , their is no point in saying here what was in the profile as some of it was very controversial and would just get deleted by the moderators. I posted that the profile was not me printed it off because i was worried that i might get a knock on the door. I had 4 attempts at shutting the account down but the person who was using the account kept re=opening it so i gave up.

I got blocked by twitter and the people i followed , ( music groups ) because somebody highjacked my account and put dozens of photos on selling fake sunglasses and it was tagged to my account.

My worse experience was on a web forum that no longer exists , on a thread somebody took a dislike to a question i answered. He posted all my user names for reviews i had done , different websites i went on , all my steam game name tags and the login name that i use when i get a new pc and download a clean copy of steam. One day on steam i got beat by a cheater so for fun i changed my name to I HATE CHEATS ... not long after the guy was was targeting me asked me why i hated cheats ????
