DOS 500 in 1 shareware CD-ROMs

does anyone remember those? Those CD-ROMs that had like 500 games on them, they were all shareware demos though. I remember Hugo's House of Horrors, Wolfenstein 3D, and a whole lot of games that probably no one can remember the name of.

Those were awesome, really made use of that newly acquired optical disc drive back in the day.

And I've got a ton of PC Gamer demo discs that sustained my appetite to try new games. Did Coconut Monkey's Gravy Trader ever arrive?

Hell yeah, I've still got a bunch of them. Picked most of them up when I was running a local BBS, it was kind of a status symbol thing - not just to have all the files on demand, but as kind of a sly way of letting people know that, yeah, that's right, I got a CD-ROM.
