Doom: The Dark Ages

Just played for a few hours—combat feels more hardcore, less rush-and-slash, more stand-your-ground. The new flail is insanely fun, shield parries are epic, and the armor-breaking + morale system adds depth! Dragon-riding battles too?! The medieval sci-fi vibe is amazing! Who else is hyped for release? Let’s talk! 🔥👊

I'd like to know how you played it too? I was a bit disappointed the new Doom serries didn't get a proper length 3rd installment to flesh it out. The Ancient Gods DLCs just felt a bit rushed, with mostly waves of enemies and little to no story details or pacing.

That said, a prequel makes a lot of sense. It will show us how the war started, and it will appease those whom hated the constant monkey bar, jump pad, portal, and aerial combat chaos. The war back then would have indeed been less acrobatic, more visceral.
