I always play as a paragon of virtue for the first several playthroughs of a good RPG. If I like a game enough, I will eventually get curious as to what the evil options are, but I still feel bad making them.

Well, in sacred 2, entire classes could only choose certain routes, some couldn't be evil and some couldn't be good. Whether that actually changed how I played them? Not really.
What the choices did was change what quests you might see in game, and the route you took through a certain zone. I think the bosses you met were also different. It was just a choice. An alternate route through game

Usually good character who does ocassionally naughty things. I remember being scolded by someone in KOTOR because I was sacking their bedroom. I'm like, "Dude, this is an RPG, stuff is HERE FOR ME TO TAKE."
