Question Do PS5 DualSense Adaptive Triggers Work on Windows?

Hey everyone,

I recently connected my PS5 DualSense controller to my PC using a USB cable. The buttons and joysticks work fine in most games, but I can’t get the adaptive triggers or haptic feedback to function the same way they do on the PS5 console.

I’ve tried a few setups:

Steam Input enabled and disabled

USB and Bluetooth modes

Different games (Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon, etc.)

Still, no luck with those “resistant trigger” effects.

👉 Question:

Has anyone managed to get adaptive triggers or haptics working on Windows?

Is it a driver limitation or do I need a third-party tool?

Also, are there any ways to test trigger feedback outside games (like through a diagnostic tool or website)?

I tested basic input response using gampadtester and the triggers respond normally there — but no resistance or vibration.

Would love to hear if someone got it working properly!

Thanks!
