It looks pretty nice. Can't wait to see funny vids of stuff people find and glitches that happen.
Strangely enough, not that many glitches as of yet, except for a couple of NPCs getting stuck inside objects. The waterfalls somehow looks like dogshit, so I have to do some research to find out what is going on. It basically looks very gray and washed out (pardon my pun).
I don't think I'll snag this till it's on sale and even then not sure. Just looks like there's so much it will be like having satellite with all the channels. I'm afraid I won't know what to. 🤷‍♂️
There is a lot to learn, but I think the game does a good job at letting you figure things out at your own pace. Thankfully, there is also a huge guidebook that tells you all about the skills, utilities and lore you find on your journey, so if you ever forget about how to do a skill, you can easily access the information.

You can also light up different areas letting you get some more information, but even that is something you don't have to do, so you could just as easily stumble upon a quest marker. I'm also very happy that there are different layers you can click through on the map, so you can tailor what the map shows.

There are also a couple of ways to set a destination marker which I like. I would have loved a notebook of sorts or letting you edit a marker with info, like "good fishing spot", but I don't think you can or at least I have not found that out yet.

I think my only real complaint so far after 10 hours is the voice acting, and it’s not even that bad. The voice acting does have more of a ‘AA game’ than a ‘AAA game’ feel to it, if that makes sense. Plus a lot of random NPCs repeat bark lines which is a little disappointing. I don’t mind repeating lines as long as there is a good amount before hearing them, it seems most individual NPC voices have about 4-5 in this game.

Patch released to fix some issues

Been meaning to start playing but keep getting side tracked.
Really would prefer to have the monitor before i play it... just sick of waiting. One month tomorrow since i ordered it... sigh

Loaded game to look at graphics settings, seems it runs in ultra.
Not sure what screen size it was set to, suspect it was native as I haven't enabled FSR, Adrenaline reports 120fps approx

edit: it was running at 4k... i reduced it to 2k. Native, no FSR. Still run at 120fps

I found a fun bug.
You meant to press escape to get out of game from loading screen. It doesn't work lol.

Ctrl Alt Del worked.

its not a bug, you need to hold it down to get it to work.

Might play tomorrow. I was just looking.

Playing on full Cinematic settings with FSR 4.1, Frame Generation on and Ray Regeneration off. Averaging around 120fps at 1080p. The updated FSR and FG look amazing. Unless if I spend a minute nitpicking the smallest details, you really cannot tell FG is on, usually it comes with some blur/muddiness in the games I've tested it on. Incredibly smooth, beautiful details, it's amazing how well it works. FG off, I get around 80FPS average.

I've gotten the camp fully set up. Apparently as of last night, only 24% of players have gotten that far. If you played nothing but the main quest you'd get there in just a few hours, it took me about 11 since I've been off exploring the world. After getting it set up, I decided to roam around a bit, saw some really massive monsters that intimidated me, and thought to myself "maybe I need to go back to the starting village and get more powerful first", so that's exactly what I'm doing.

Completed a few requests around the first town, getting more bag space and money. As with most games, the best loot is found in dungeons and caves, though I still feel a bit underpowered to explore them. I'm not sure how the game handles scaling of enemies and gear, but I'm still using the starting weapon, boots and gloves. I did find a two-handed claymore sword which is really cool but isn't much more powerful than the one-handed sword which I can attack with faster.

For anyone playing, I highly recommend getting to Chapter 3 and getting that achievement for setting up the camp before going off too far. By then you'll have a good amount of money, private stash box, teleportation point by camp, some skills unlocked and more. It just seems like a good point to stop before going on long expeditions and exploration, that's kind of where the main introductory tutorials end as well. Plus you get to cook food for people:

tunnel vision likely to happen to me too..
But I could treat it like Sacred and empty each zone as I go, although it sounds like caves and dungeons can wait until you op.
The fast travel they added might make the backtracking less annoying.

I assume there is only one save file. No making multiple characters? I guess there aren't varied builds besides do you use two handed or shield/sword

Could you just go ranged for instance?

game doesn't have levels so have to think monsters scaled to the zones they in. Similar to how MMO did it when I played them. Dangerous to wander into wrong zones. Rushing story can leave you underpowered. Just a guess.

Three auto save slots, multiple regular save slots. I believe you could do other save files if you wanted.

No "builds" in the traditional sense. There seems to be many different weapon types, with a few skills for specific groups of weapons like Archery, Armed Combat, Unarmed, etc. that come with a few extra moves each time you level them up. You could do ranged only if you wanted, I assume there are some form of guns because I picked up bullet ammunition. I only have a bow right now.

It really comes down to how you want to play the game. You're not locked into a specific build, you have freedom to use whatever weapon and combat style you want.

I think enemies being stronger in different areas might be how this game works. I haven't stepped out of the beginning area as it's still massive, so I haven't encountered any OP enemies yet. And I also agree rushing story could leave you underpowered, you need to sprinkle some sidequests and exploration to get better loot. That's why I say Chapter 3 is a good spot to stop the main quest and start exploring.
