I have Lenovo Chromebook.

Which games can I play that can run on Chromebook? As I have been led to download .exe files for gaming,

is all that I could find which I cannot open on my Chromebook.

Thanks. Daniel.

Hi Daniel,
Chromebooks can’t run .exe files because they’re designed for Windows. However, you still have several good gaming options:
  • Android games from the Google Play Store (if your Chromebook supports it)
  • Web-based games that run directly in the browser
  • Linux (Crostini) games if you enable Linux on your Chromebook
  • Cloud gaming services like GeForce NOW or Xbox Cloud Gaming, which let you play PC/console titles via streaming
For performance-focused gaming, you can also use browser tools to fine-tune your mouse sensitivity and control. For example, a web-based Mouse DPI Analyzer can help you check and calibrate your DPI settings so your aim feels more consistent across different games that run on Chromebook.

I think you can play some Android stuff from the Play store on there, but for newer games it would be worth looking into Geforce Now. How well it works depends on your internet connection and hardware, some people find it flawless but others struggle with it. You would have to pay for a sub though.

There is a free tier for Geforce Now, though it should be noted that you can only play games you already own (or free ones).
