I learned the basics of chess at an early age and disliked it very much.
It seemed to me that the person who had memorized the most moves and counter moves always won,
not the person with the most intuitive talent.
Over the past 60 plus years, I've noticed that most of the persons I have met who play
Chess are snobs. Arrogant, rude, unfriendly.
The ONLY game they will play is chess, and chess is their entire life.
I said "most that I have met" not "all" so you can ram your "I play chess and I don't act that way" objections up your A S S.
Fortunately, I discovered some two player games that do not seem to attract a d-bag cult of arrogance.
A few of them can be found to play online at sites such as Boardspace.
I recommend: All The King's Men, Terrace, Yinsh as starters
Weird when a Mod who can't use English grammar correctly decides to attack a simple factual report of real life experience.
Could that mod be lazy, hasty, shallow, or stupid?
Mentioning the existence of a resource is very different from "promoting" it.
