For console, I would prefer a good couch, or a lazy boy chair.

That's what I was thinking to myself at first then thought different strokes for different folks but yeah a sofa or a couch would be on my to buy list...or a bean bag, something comfortable unless the person wants to do competitive PS gaming, like real competitive.

Oh of course, that makes more sense.

Good thing about consoles is that you usually sit far enough away so that when you rage-throw the controller at the TV, there's a decent chance you'll miss. Much more economical than the PC out the window thing.
