So I'm trying to upgrade just the Processor and Graphics card without touching the other parts. I was originally going to buy a new Desktop all-together. However the new bios update for the B350 supports 5000 series.

I'm curious as to which processor you would recommend for my set up and/or if you had my near-exact set up and ended up upgrading. I already have a PSU 850 watt and an nvidia 3080 sitting in my room ready to be installed. I just don't want to have any bottlenecking issues further down the line.

Some of the games I enjoy playing and want to play after the uprade: LoL; Star citizen; Starfield (Bethesda no release date yet); Halo Infinite; Elden Ring; Cyberpunk

I also do a ton of music recording and video editing (mainly for music videos, nothing crazy requiring CGI).

I don't know if that board's VRM's would handle a 5900X.

Does a B350-f support RAM @ 3600mhz? I'd check what the max XMP setting is for this mobo after the latest BIOS flash.
