Assetto Corsa Crashing PC

I wonder if you can try "pasting" some files from your old profile into the new non-crashing profile. I never played Assetto Corsa and I have no idea what the profile structure is like, but maybe it's worth investigating.

Hi.

I tried that to no avail. It seems like there are config files to mine to get there.

So I did it the old way and set the resolution low then benchmarked, then made a change and benchmarked.
Rinse.
Repeat.

Turns out it was just the reflection quality frequency, iirc.
One setting, lots of grief. I don't even remember changing it in the first place

Since then I have ramped it up to max 4k and it only crashed on the highest settings.

That's disappointing, as I was expecting to be able to run it all the way up but not a problem. Wind it back a couple of clicks and I can discern no difference.
I'm a crap driver anyway.

So it still crashes even with the clean install of the game and the clean profile? Depending on the settings you use.

Hi all.

Just for closure, the problem seems to be the 590 Fatboy.

I sent it back to Ebuyer.com and they are replacing it.

It wasn't the games or my installation, just a duff card.
