Question asking about nvme ssd for my setup

greetings.

I'm planning to buy Corsair MP600 Pro LPX 1TB PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD for my setup, but i dont really know it will be compatible with my motherboard. its quite old, so i kinda hesitated

My rig is

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
16 GB of RAM
Zotac RTX 2080 Super
Asus ROG Strix b-450 f

should i proceed? or not?

thank you for your kind advices and suggestions

is it this one?

You have 2 m.2 slots
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*3
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*4

The nvme will only run at gen 3 speed due to your motherboard not having any pcie4 slots. Gen 3 is still plenty fast, its the speed mine runs at.
I would suggest putting it in the top slot as the nvme heatsink being in second slot could be a problem with your GPU (given like mine, it would be under the GPU due to GPU's size
MY 2nd nvme slot is under there somewhere
