QTE's never actually died. They just stopped being put in games that weren't almost exclusively narrative games.

This actually sounds pretty good. It's seems like it's basically a very well written visual novel with some QTE's and choices to make. Since Telltale went under, I haven't really played these types of games except for the Man of Medan.

It's on Game Pass, so I'll probably try it out. It's also on Steam for $29.99.

I think Dragon's Lair was probably the king of QTEs. We need to bring them back! They're much better than turn-based games. 😆

Turn based and QTE are not mutually exclusive! Last Remnant had you put all your commands in then, as the turn played out, it would play little QTE's that would give your attacks a boost if they were timed right. We can all get along just fine!
