At the moment I'm using MSI 27" WQHD G-SYNC Gaming Monitor 2560x1440. My video card is a 4070 Super. Is there something that would be worth the upgrade that is under $500?
I use it for a little bit of everything from gaming to movies to regular everyday use.

Thank you in advance!

That's a pretty decent monitor you have tbh. The OLED monitors are pretty spendy atm.

Most monitors over 27 inch are also 4k now, so if you were after a bigger screen it would need to be 4k. I noticed that this year when I was looking around. I had wanted a 32inch 2k screen but they don't appear to exist any more.
Newly released ones maybe. You can still pickup monitors like the

MSI MAG 325CQRF-QD

for around £300. That's a 32 inch curved 170hz 1440p VA panel monitor.
I wouldn't upgrade to this from a 27 inch one though. As other's have said upgrade other bits then maybe in a few years time a new GPU.

I already have a 32inch 1440p screen running at 144hz

It wouldn't really be much of an upgrade for me to jump from 144 to 170. I was hoping for faster really... and HDR.
I probably have to get 4k when I upgrade next time as the chances of finding a flat screen 32inch 1440p screen with a faster refresh rate are really slim. I hope to be able to wait until I get next GPU to do that - and since I don't know what that is yet (it doesn't exist), that might be a while.

Depends on specs of ops current monitor as to how much of a jump that one is.
