Prices are very market (as in what country) driven. "Good for the price" depends on what is locally available as well.

Sharkoon is not a US brand, typically, so I wouldn't expect prices here to be very good. Elsewhere, that isn't the case.

is the 750 Watt Sharkoon WPM Gold Zero Modular 80+ Gold a good psu for the price?
depends how much you value everything else in PC. Buying cheap PSU can kill parts. Better to buy a good PSU and parts won't die before their time.

If there's still someone wondering about this, not only for OP, this psu has good components (there are some tests with oscillospoes where it can be seen that it'a reliable psu) but it has a problem with the 0RPM mode, where the fan is a bit "lazy" so the unit will get really hot at high loads. A solution could be to connect the psu's fan to the mobo and put it like 40-50% to keep things cool and quiet

solution makes me wonder, as most PSU fans are run auto and don't have anyway to attach it to a Motherboard.
