Hi guys

I'm looking to build my 1st PC for gaming my current budget is £1,200 and growing as im trying to wait till the new year. I have a AOC 144hz monitor already but nout else. Not planning to over clock as I'm new to building and not a hardcore gamer.

ATM I'm looking at
Ryzen 5 3600x
Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI)
Graphics, Nvidia 3070/Similar Radeon
Memory, G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory
SSD Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME
HDD Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Case, Deepcool MATREXX 55 V3 ADD-RGB WH 3F ATX Mid Tower Case
Pow Sup, SeaSonic FOCUS 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I know i have to wait to get the graphics cards, Nvidia or Radeon, does it mater which one? I just want to know if this is a solid enough build, or am i putting stuff into the build that is overkill and won't benefit me?

Cheers

Greggers

If I run that b550 motherboard the ryzen 5 5600x, what memory would be compatible? PC partpicker is saying that all memory I tried might be too big
