Do games in MS store share the same servers that Steam and Origin, etc games do? If I buy (whatever game) on MS store, will I be able to play with Steam friends who own the game?

Thanks. It says that GPU supports 4.0 but is currently running on 3.0. So, wait a second, does that mean that I can simply test in the bios by forcing 4.0 instead of leaving in auto mode, to see if signal works? If it does, does that mean my riser is 4.0?

Just to be sure. The above sentence means that, if I reinstall windows for some reason, then the programs that were installed in D would no longer work?

It does work properly, but I don't want to miss out on 4.0 features and capabilities if I have them.

The only thing I can see, is, on my BIOS, it says Pcie 4 but not sure if it means the GPU or the riser cable.

is 3.0 but my GPU is 4.0, should I force 3.0 pcie in the bios, or leave on auto? Actually, I'm not even sure my riser is 3.0 because different sources say different things. Is there a way for me to verify? Is it written somewhere on the riser cable? This link says it's 3.0 whereas this one...

can I safely install on my D drive? Or inversely, which ones might cause issues if not installed on C:? For example, will Dropbox desktop app not work correctly if not installed on C:?
