Sounds like the nocd patch didn’t apply correctly. Make sure you’re replacing the original .exe file in the game folder with the patched one. Also, check if it’s the right version for your game. If it still asks for a disc, the patch might be faulty or incomplete.
Try installing DirectX 9 and any missing .NET Framework or Visual C++ Redistributables. If it’s an older game, you might need a No-CD patch or to run it in a virtual machine with Windows XP. Also, check if there’s a fan-made patch or community fix—some older games need extra tweaks to work on...
