I don't know about the early hours, but I'm seeing a fairly even mix. Apparently it can depend where you recruit them from--there's one spot that only shows you pawns who are men, and another that's only women.
Sovereign Syndicate. It's a singleplayer steampunk RPG, came out in January. I wish more people would play it! I like Solium Infernum too, the strategy game set in Hell. (It's a remake, but one that's different enough to feel like a new game.)

I think, just like we saw happen with "walking simulator", once the creators of the games in question latch onto a genre name it loses its insulting connotation. I see enough devs call their retro FPSes boomer shooters now that I'm on board with it.
Rich did the heavy lifting but I had his back on that one. I don't play a lot of Kojima games but I loved Death Stranding.

This is exactly it, same as previous years. As the introduction in the linked article explains, "Once we choose the games, we assign each an award category to fit it. This is why the categories are slightly different each year."
