Which laptop would you pick between these five?

That's really interesting. My Acer Nitro 5 has an easy access panel to upgrade the RAM and the SSD is easy to upgrade as well. Then again, the Nitro is known for that sort of thing. There are very few differences between the Nitro and the Predator, though, so I'd also be surprised if it's an...

    Medic in games

There are Medic builds in The Division/The Division 2, but as I understand it they aren't necessary or even necessarily wanted for endgame content (and can actually hinder people using builds that perform better as health gets lower etc). Warlocks in Destiny 2 have a well that can heal anyone...

Xbox 360 controller to Xbox Series S/X controller worth the upgrade?

It's hard to say compared to the 360 controller as that's not exactly a "last and current gen" comparison, but there are a few differences in the Series X controller that were not seen in the Xbox One controller (and 360): The controller now has textured grips and shoulder buttons, the newer...

    Question best gaming laptop

Looking at gaming laptop price points in India, I'm struggling to find one I'd suggest that meets your budget. There are laptops for ₹74,999 that, while they are light years ahead of what you said you're currently using, I'd still hesitate to suggest for any serious gaming.

    Best color accuracy gaming laptop

Just to comment on part of your post....gaming laptops tend to have fairly poor battery life (in comparison to the typical laptop these days, anyway) because of the high performance nature of the device. If that's an important thing to you, I'd shy away from a gaming laptop.

Looking for Controller with Stiff Thumbsticks

Interesting question that definitely has me thinking. Have you given the Xbox Elite controller a try? From a quick look on the net, people seem to say that has stiffer sticks that "take some getting used to" for some people. I've owned 2 Elites and didn't really take notice to that sort of...

Gaming laptop 240hz , question regarding monitor

I can't speak from personal experience, as the highest I've spent any large amount of time playing on was a 144Hz monitor, but the general consensus I hear during a talk like this is that if you're used to higher you will notice a difference. Going down from 240Hz to 144Hz doesn't sound like a...

    Purchase Help?

I assume you mean running settings at max. If so, the RTX 2070 can do it but it isn't buttery smooth with ray tracing turned on. The RTX 3060 etc do a much better job of that.

a dip into open world games?

If you don't mind a mix between open world and FPS, you could give Destiny 2 a try. I wouldn't classify it as a truly open world game, but it wouldn't require any initial $ invested as the base game is now available free on Steam. The gunplay etc is a very smooth experience and the game is...

Gaming PC for first time buyer

Most companies are more or less going to offer the same setups. Things that will differ are the case used, SSD/HDD, etc. I'll link a possible option from 2 pre-built gaming PC providers in the UK that have a positive online presence (and a good warranty period, however limited the warranty may...

Will the prices on pc’s drop or should I buy one now before they rise even higher?

I guess it depends what kind of features you're after...especially with new technology, as it becomes more standard the prices can only go one way (down).

    Question Gaming Laptop hesitation

I'm surprised at the high price relative to the specs on the laptops you've linked. Neither of them are really spec'd the way I'd expect at that price point. If waiting and looking at other options isn't feasible, I personally lean toward the Medion machine you've linked. For either machine...

    New controller for PC

As far as controller goes, I use the new Xbox Series X controller (specifically the new Shock Blue colour, because I couldn't resist the new look). The Elite 2 is a better option if it's in your budget....I tend to abuse my controllers too much, though - after going through 2 Elites in a short...

Just a normal laptop for the wife

Is the black casing a legitimate requirement? The price point you want to be under for the purchase already limits things as it is. Due to that, I'll ignore the black casing part when linking some of these options...

Question Need games to play with a low spec friend

Guild Wars 2 is free to play (the core game is, anyway - expansions sold separate but no monthly fee) and has low system requirements. I've pasted them below (for some reason Path of Fire went out of line so I had to paste it in where the line was meant to be). The base game requires at minimum...
