Depends. On one hand I get what op is saying. But without scaling games would get boringly easy after a bit. Just one hitting everything isn't fun in the long run. I think it's best when it's area specific. Both too give a challenge for low-level carecters and too prevent high-level carecters...
I prefer the old style of let's play videos with commentary. Preferably blind playthroughs so you get to see there first time reaction.
But playing yourself is better.
apparently it was one of there own employees. https://www.eurogamer.net/unity-closes-offices-over-potential-threat-following-controversial-pricing-changes
If all your looking for is to compare performance you could look in to 3d mark there is free version of it under demos. https://store.steampowered.com/app/223850/3DMark/
FMV works really well for RTS games because all it needs to do is carry the story along between missions.
It's a shame Tempest Rising is banking on cgi instead least as far as the playable demo did.
Command & Conquer red alert 2
It's clearly a high stage situation and seeing the soviet forces rolling in all over the US with the booming music of hell march 2 by Frank Klepacki in the background it's just the best in my opinion.
tbf op asked for one game so natural people will suggest there or one of there favorite games.
And a game with a good story and maybe i have high standards but games like the far-cry series or Just Cause doesn't have that in my opinion still they are fun shooters for the most part but so is...
It's balanced by hit chance and there is a limit amount of actions you can do in one go "action points" before it needs to recharge. Here is a slightly spoilerey funny video about the game.
And that's where Playnite comes in for me not to sound like a advertisement for a free open sorce program. But it makes more or less everything steam does in terms of library and in some cases better with no adverts, login or other blotewhere and you can easily add any game (or program really)...
I don't go looking at sales I just find something of interest and if I can get a good deal I take it but I don't buy games just because they are on sale if that makes sense.
And I've always preferred to get games from gog if it had to be a digital copy because it doesn't require its own...
Not a fan of 4 and 76 was a catastrophe and I've seen enough bad signs coming out of starfield so Im reluctant to even try it doesn't seem to be what I was hoping for.
I have to agree i didn't chose to have a steam account when i got Supreme Commander 2. It forced me to make one even though it was on cd and I was not a fan of that and Im still not tbh.
im coming at it as mostly a fps player and VATS is just fun my biggest gripe is that a lot of the perks are purely vats focused but there are mods to fix that making manual aiming more viable. it's certainly a lot better than how it was in F3 even though i prefer that atmosphere tbh.
