    Thank's for that, it make sense I suppose although it's the first time I've come across it. I don't think I'll bother though as I think the problem I'm having is not within our scope to fix. I just wondered if anyone else had had such an issue with their ISP (in the UK)

    Yes. You are right but Vodafone(UK) support don't seem to have the skillset or inclination to find out what. Easier and cheaper to palm me off to someone else I suppose.
