Well, I brought back Guido's old laptop with a 3060 in it, and it had the RE4 remake on it, and it ran it just fine in between medium...

You don't have to spend $2000 on a GPU, though. The 5070, which costs $540, was 40 fps faster than the 4090 in one test per that article...

when the majority of players are still using 1080p monitors there isn't a lot of demand for 4k. Being able to run 4k also means updating...

To add to that, streaming platforms like GeForceNow are only getting better, apparently. So that puts the cycle of upgrading your GPU...
