That article was a good read, put my mind at ease! my temps sit around 70 while running a variety of games on ultra settings. After a period of time they can rise up to 90 and sometimes spike higher but they typically rest in the 70-88 mark.
Hi everyone,
I'm back with another question for you wonderful wizards! I have posted this on the OBS forums as well but thought I'd check out the trustworthy brains here too!
So I started streaming this week (On Twitch) using OBS stream elements. So far so good. However I have noticed on my...
Thanks for your response!
It seems like you're correct. I think the cooler is just taking a moment to to catch up with the heat. I have been running temperature monitoring via iCUE and the temperatures only spike momentarily when first launching a game and then quickly settles. While gaming the...
Hi guys,
I have just built a new gaming rig. Everything was running fine until I noticed the LED was lit red for CPU. I have downloaded core temp and checked my CPU temperature when loading up a game. As soon as a game is launched the LED lights up red and CPU temps climb instantly to 80-100...
Thank you for your response!
I've had a look and made the changes you recommended and also made changes to the case.

Considering the case doesn't come with any fans, what would you recommend in addition to the CPU cooler?
Have you tried using PCPartPicker? You can find all your parts on there and it will tell you if it is compatible or not.

Why Are You Upgrading: Having used 2 gaming PC's over the last 10-15 years of gaming and spent a large portion of...
Considering your suggestions it seems as though the solution is to build an entirely new PC. For which I would probably like to do some future proofing and bump up my budget to £2,000. What would you recommend for this budget?
Additionally my cooling system is currently made up of the Be quiet BK021 and 3 pc fans placed throughout my NZXT H510 case. One on each side of the motherboard and one at the top of the case above the cpu fan. I'm assuming this could probably be improved as well?
Yes it is, i've been writing MC to avoid the spam filter as I am a new account, apologies!
Power supply: Corsair TX-M series TX 550M
Monitor resolution: 1920x1080 & 144 Hz
Case: NZXT H510
There is the CPU cooling fan which is the Be Quiet BK021 and 3 PC fans one at each end of the case and one...
