My first RPG was Baldur's Gate 1.

I haven't played BG3 yet, but I have completed BG1 and BG2 numerous times each. I've been a gamer for 30 years.

As of tonight, the last game that I have completed is "Baldur's Gate 2".

The first video game that I remember playing was Duke Nukem 3D. Once I had a taste of that title, I was hooked. I knew that from then on I was a true gamer, and would be for the rest of my life.

Many older video games are among my favorites, 30 years later. For me, the Nintendo 64 was (and perhaps still is) my top console of all time. Even older PC games, like Baldur's Gate, are present day favorites.

To the best of my knowledge, what you're describing is generally referred to as "Flow State". And I find that Baldur's Gate 2 does this for me. Great question, OP.

As the previous commenter pointed out, there are certain things to avoid when cleaning your monitor(s). I use water and a microfiber towel. It doesn't take much to clean the monitors every month or so. And it pays off in the long run.

I am in the same boat as you on this one. When I switched from HDDs to SSDs, my opinion of what computers were/are capable of transformed in a moment. I went from thirty second load times, to less than ten. That was a big moment in my PC journey too.
