NEED TO UPGRADE PSU?

Hello so recently i purchased the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT GAMING 12GB GDDR6 and im very satisfied with the perfomance with most of the games i play,
but theres a singular game that doesnt work as expected xD Escape From Tarkov, every time i start the game the PC just Shutsdown, i researched and looked that the recommended Wtz for the GPU i have now is 700W so i was looking and found this one:

ASUS ROG Strix 750W Gold​

But before i buy i realy wanna know if the problem is the PSU xD i went as well to Event viewer and had some critical errors there.

I would be more inclined to get a Corsair RMx750 as they are more reliable than Asus.

I had a 750watt PSU when I got my 7900xt last year and it was only due to uncertainty about what card actually needed that I put a 1kw PSU in. Having more than you need now can allow you to upgrade other parts and not worry about power.

that is up to you. If you not changing anything more on pc, then i would get a 750. When I upgraded I had a 3600x instead of current CPU (5800x3d), and I added more storage and a more powerful AIO since as well. We have best CPU that ls likely to ever be released on board, so only things that would need more power is if you used an AIO or more storage drives. I hardly use the amount I have now... my 750watt PSU I used to have would probably be enough still. I didn't know that at time.

That looks like a good case. Another lian li 011 Dynamic clone. Its a slightly different design but close. I like where it hides the PSU.

I thought about one of those but at time didn't want to buy all my case fans at the same time. The LIan li doesn't have any, not sure about that NZXT.

The fractal case came with fans, but I have since replaced them.

and it doesnt fit quite well with the RAM sticks so i will revert the airflow or i will get reverse fans to get the job done

But i will go probably with the NZXT it comes with 3 Case fans i think i have a couple more at home until i buy new ones gets the job done

how does changing case fix the spacing of the CPU fan & ram?
Or is the current case shorter?

The 3 intakes that come with Case would feed that CPU cooler well, would need perhaps one exhaust at rear to drag air through.

i don't have a case picked out I would want next. I would probably get one of these as cooling always beat what it looks like, to me

My current Case is Case PC NOX INFINITY OMEGA RGB (ATX Mid Tower - Black), but the glass broke, and the top of the case is bent cause of my fat cat xD
So ye is currently small and no space for cable management so kinda sucks it has already 5 years so ye.

Already comes with 5 Fans if im not wrong and the price isnt that off, the thing is the future Water Cooling i dont know if it will fit

Torrent really more designed for air cooling. Hence its name. You could in theory replace the 2 x 180mm with an AIO but then you removing one of the main features of case and plenty of other cases to pick from that are better at water.

I am not thinking about my next PC. I want to use most of what I have now, but may need to replace AIO anyway as it might not have the right attachments for the as yet unreleased CPU. If I have to replace it, new case might make sense... but I will have to think about it in a few years.

Yes i have air cooler, but i said in future i will want a water coller for sure when i say future i say next black friday xD
NZXT has support for water cooler
we have same CPU mine does very good, some temperatures are high thats why i bought that cooler but other then that is very good

How hot CPU is seems to depend on how big AIO is.
I had a 240mm AIO in this PC until December. Avg temp of CPU cores used to be about 35c and the CPU Package would run up to about 42C and go all way to 50c
I now have a 360mm AIO and avg temp of CPU cores now is about 24c and the CPU package runs at 36c, at idle.
It does spike up to about 60 when it runs a process but that doesn't last long.
if its a longer running process it sits on about 52C. Most I see in games is about 70C

Ryzen CPU rush a core to max speed to run a process, and then once completed, rush core back to idle again to save power. So temps on outside of CPU package can go up and down all day. I tend to watch them

Its hard to be exact as it was also summer in December and its not now. I never saw a temp below 28C on cores before I swapped AIO. Now I wonder if I will see below 20c in winter. Fans have a minimum speed that they can't go under so maybe when its below 0c outside. Lowest I seen so far is 23c

Never expected to see a Ryzen CPU approach the temps my old 4690K used to get.

I can tell u that rested my Temperature Rested is 37 - 40ºC and playing can go to 60º - 80ºC
Using the afterburn, water cooler has that much influence that gets u constantly under 30?

26 to 35 is about the range CPU runs at. Its not constantly under 30. depends on ambient temps of house, this morning it was cooler than it is now. CPU on 28c now.
The range you have now is what I had on a 240mm AIO.

I only upgraded as my 240mm was playing up. The temp difference was just an added bonus.

AIO defaults its fan speed to 1300 but I don't need that, so they run at about 900. The fan speed on my AIO also controls how fast the pump runs, so I don't let them run any slower than 800.

what do you mean by afterburn? MSI afterburner? that only controls gpu fans.

Im not that good with softwares to control fan speed, overclocks and etc.
I used Afterburned to watch the temperature of the components.

it can't see AMD GPU fans

You can't overclock that CPU so no need for software.
I leave GPU to its own settings. i just let Hyper RX do whatever it wants.

the only thing I use MSI Afterburner for is to control GPU fans as I prefer them to run all the time instead of come on/off all day. So I set up a fan curve

but have to disable it any time I play a game as it runs fans too fast.

its not on 100% speed. Adrenalin shows fan speed as 590, and the chart seems to indicate fans have way more in them

it needs to be on 40C to hit 50% fan speed. Its only on 35C now.

I don't think I can hear my GPU fans over the AIO ones. PC isn't very loud. I will grab a coke from kitchen and then start wondering what the bubbling noise I can hear is... the drink is the cause. PC is so quiet I can hear other noises around house.

I am not on discord very much. my username is the same there.

not all fans are controllable either, need to be PWM (3 pin) fans for program to control them. My case originally had non pwm fans, I have swapped those out now and can control almost all with the program.

Other question, does my Motherboard (X470 GAMING PRO MAX) will have any problems with the new PSU (Corsair 750w), idk but could the PSU be too good for the Motherboard? (Maybe a dumb question) xD
