Welcome to the forum :)

If it's Windows Defender, go ahead and install it.

If not, what is the software?

MS store should be safe, don't worry about going
Windows defender should be installed already. Neither 10 or 11 will let you remove it. You can disable it but its still there in most cases.

Screenshots of the message would be good. Sounds suspect to me.

I would run malwarebytes and check PC is okay -- https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download

i cant download the malwarebytes app its restricted in my country and here's the link to the screenshot https://ibb.co/m8fq6yq

That page doesn't exist. The requested page was not found.

That's odd. Lemme go fire it up with another browser. I see it now. I've never seen it, OP, where did you source the installer for your OS?

Try this out;
but I'm not a fan of registry editing. As such, backup any and or all mission critical data if you have any on your OS drive.

MWB could be restricted for use by EU countries, I suppose. An alternative would be Hitman Pro.

Use the free trial.

Updating legit Defender should be part of the normal Windows Update process. There does seem to be something else in play here.

Scan and share the results.

By the way, are all of your applications, games, and operating system from legit sources?

thats not a regedit

On windows 11 do this

1) launch powershell as an admin
2) Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
3) Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

4) Set-ExecutionPolicy restricted

not directly anyway, its more powershell. manifest is installing default applications from memory.
it should get them from the windows image file.
I didn't notice you found same link already

Very unlikely, they have offices in Estonia, Italy, and Ireland is their EAME HQ.

restricted in belgium

Do you have a source link for that? I looked into it briefly and cannot find any such news—and I'd also expect to have seen it mentioned in security articles I scan from time to time.

It would be odd for one EU country to restrict it while others host offices for it.
