What's the craziest/best/worst thing a game has done to you for drinking alcohol or taking drugs?

Or just a memorable experience. I usually regret taking illicit substances in games when they mess up the screen a lot, and some games actually have an addiction mechanic with various problems associated with that.

What made me think of it, though, was Ale and Tale Tavern. It reverses WASD and mouse movement and is very disorienting. Fortunately it lasts for less than a minute.

Messing up the screen or controls is weak stuff, I want my virtual drugs to give me a proper trip.

For example. the Walking with Spirits quest from the Point Lookout DLC from Fallout 3, where you get a psychedelic trip where you see, among other things, bobbleheads with cryptic messages, a giant bonesaw sawing through the ground and then the ground being stitched up with a giant needle and thread and the skeleton of your mother on the operating table she died on giving birth to your character.

Though I did like the mission in Far Cry 3 where you have to burn the weed fields. Standing in the smoke makes you high which does only distort your screen a bit, but I think it works really well.

I also think it's interesting to ask what the worst thing drugs/poison has done to enemies when used by the player. In Shadow of War, you can poison grog barrels found in orc camps. At first, this just kills any orc that drinks from it after a few seconds. However, after a few levels you can get a skill upgrade that lets enemies explode instead, spreading the poison effect to any nearby orcs. After a few more levels, you can get another upgrade that, instead of letting the orc explode, makes him attack other orcs while occasionally making him projectile vomit, spreading the effect to other orcs, before dying after a few seconds.

...Far Cry 3...
My favorite missions in Far Cry 4 were the drugged missions that took you to Shangri La and you had a pet tiger who fought with you. Of course, then there was a later mission with a tiger who looked exactly the same (white), and I thought, "My tiger!" and then he tried to eat me.

Along those lines, some of the Assassin's Creed games like Black Flag (I really haven't played the recent ones enough to know if they are still doing it) used to give you a variety of poison darts, and my favorite was the one that made an enemy go berserk and attack nearby enemies until he either was killed or the poison finally killed him.

I liked those so much, and there usually weren't too many of them, that I never shot one at a random citizen (instead of an enemy) to see what they would do, but I assume they would just start attacking other citizens.

Don't care for any of that in games.

Beer and gaming or those ol' lan party days, now that's a different story.

This was actually the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. Except I hated every second of it lol.
