Question updating bios

Hey im gonna buy MSI B660M MoBo and 13th intel gen i3, can u give me some instructions how can i update bios.
Can i update bios with cpu installed on mobo or no? And if i can, do will i have basic screen of bios or black screen?

MSI uses M Flash program to flash their bios - https://www.msi.com/support/technical_details/MB_BIOS_Update

motherboard manual for B660M Mortar shows you can't update it without being inside BIOS. Some boards let you flash them with only PSU attached but I don't see that feature on the B660M Mortar (I didn't look at B660M-A)

should be able to flash bios with CPU installed.

Yes, you can update the BIOS on an MSI B660M motherboard with a 13th generation Intel processor installed. During the BIOS update, the BIOS baseline screen will be displayed, not a black screen.
