Super Bowl

Did any of you watch the Super Bowl? I host a large party each year, had a great turnout but unfortunately the game was terrible. I'm a Kendrick fan so the halftime show was great for me, but it seems to be divisive between different folks I know.

What are your thoughts on the game / halftime performance / commercials?

Ack. Pthhthththtppt. I went to my mom's to watch. Went home before the 3rd quarter ended. Ate dinner and chatted while the halftime went on. (I've never liked a halftime show yet. Though we were both impressed that they got that stage set up and broken down so fast.)

I thought the halftime show seemed very low energy. My bar is very high. Prince. In the rain. Tearing off the roof. Rocking like it was 1999.

Commercials were fairly forgettable. The Budweiser one was cute. The AI ones were were annoying and play on people's ignorance. The Beckham one was good (Stella Artois).

There were a couple that really irritated me for other reasons, but not for open discussion.

I did not. Sports really no longer interest me. They used to, but it has waned to near non-existent.
