Suitable new GPU for my PC

Hello, im looking to upgrade my PC's GPU, but i really don't know what best suitable new GPU for my current PC.

My PC specs:
B660M GAMING X DDR4
16 GB RAM (3200Hz)
Intel i5-12600
RTX 3060
PSU 850W
Resolution 2560x1440 (QHD)

I cant decide upgrade to RTX 3060Ti or 3070 to avoid bottlenecks and achieve best gaming experience?

My advice is to wait for Nvidia to release the RTX 4060/4070 which should be out in the coming months.

The 3060Ti/3070 would be an incremental lift in performance compared to your current card, whereas one of thiose two will likely be more noticeable for around the same money.

If you already have a 3060, then the 3060 Ti or 3070 would be a huge waste of money. In order for us to help you better, we really need to know what your budget is, and also how important is ray tracing to you?

Just chiming in to agree with @Kaamos_Llama The 4060 is rumored to be around 3070ti in performance and, while it's sure to be another record price for the xx60 model, it should still be somewhat affordable.

Or you could wait until those cards come out and get a 3070ti or 3080 for a steal marked down (if that is still a thing that happens).

Just my personal take is that you wouldn't want either of the cards you are listing for 1440p with ray tracing. Also, there's no such thing as getting rid of the bottleneck. It's either your GPU or your CPU, but it's never neither, not unless you limit your framerate.
