Okay so I currently have a Ryzen 5 2600 and an Asrock b450m steel legend which is ryzen 3000 ready. When the Ryzen 5 5600 (non x) comes out I’m looking to buy it. Is this all compatible and will my board be okay with the 5000 series bios update? Thanks

Most of the B450 motherboards will receive a BIOS update that will allow to use Ryzen 5000 series CPUs. We don't know the exact date, but it should be somewhere in the beginning of the year. So yes, your motherboard will probably be compatible after the BIOS update is installed.
