Hello guys, ehm where should I start.
My PC specs:
R7 7800X3D
RTX 4080
G.SKILL 64GB DDR5 6000mhz CL30
B650 TomaHawk Wi-Fi
MSI A850G 850W PSU
Corsair H150i Capellix XT
LianLi 216 case

I know my specs aren't the best. Is it worth to getting a RTX 4090? Will I be blown away by the performance increase compared to the 4080? How much better is the 4090 at 1440p and 4K? I think that the 4080 also not bad up to these days, right?
I really wonder if I will be shocked in performance difference between 4080 and 4090.

Hi again.

Here the latest review from Techpowerup of the 4080 Super. You can see in the chart the difference in FPS on average across 25 demanding games in their test suite at 1440p

It will vary a little from game to game, but in general to me it would be waste of money, unless money is meaningless to you anyway.

On a side note, you have perhaps the fastest gaming processor there is, and the 3rd or 4th fastest GPU in existence, paired with an excessively large for gaming 64 GB of good low latency CL30 DDR5. Your specs are closer to the best than 99% of other gamers. Hope this helps.

The "my specs aren't the best" starter pack:

High end CPU, High end GPU, 64 gb of ram and liquid cooled lmao, im jk.

In short, no. Its not about worth getting it though, in reality paying 1700usd+ for graphics isnt worth it regardless if you have the money or not imo. The 4090 will give you the most frames, yes, if you are worried about that, with a high end set up already, i have a feeling you are just gonna go with that which is fine.

If you are trying to save money and still look for a great 4k experience (high frames). Then yea go with the 4080, and not the regular 4080 at this point (depending on the gpu you are upgrading from) go with the 4080SUPER. They are 999usd msrp and clock in within 20-30 fps of a 4090 (in most games) yet costs you 7-800 less.

I really wonder if I will be shocked in performance difference between 4080 and 4090.

You wont be shocked and will only notice a difference close to being "shocked" in very few games like maybe cyberpunk 2077 on psycho setting for graphics in 4k (60-80 fps where as the 4080s gets 40-55)
