The game was Terra Mystica, a mediocre digital adaptation to a fantastic board game. If you're ever interested in trying it, there's a free web version at https://terra.snellman.net/, which performs better even if it looks worse.

I actually can't remember any hacking in Crysis 3, so I'm not sure if it is just a few places you can do it, like disabling turrets, etc or if it is part of the suit modules.

CORRECT!! it was in fact head over Heels! Not played it myself, i was too young to enjoy the delights of the 8bit era but hey, if you want to play the remake you can download it free or buy a copy of the enhanced remake on steam
