Just upgraded from a GTX 1060 3gb to a RTX 2060 6gb, thought i could get away with using my current 450w psu but its getting too hot when playing anything demanding, first time ive upgraded my gpu or anything, what would be a suitable psu that would run cool under heavy load. Thanks

PSU is hot to touch and the main fan sounds like its on full speed, this happens if i play anything like Apex legends,COD MW but when playing Skyrim the PSU is cool to the touch along with everything else.

The RTX 2060 doesn't draw a great deal more power than the 1060. 40W or so under heavy load.
Components' fans running at high rpm isn't itself a problem - the fans exist and have the capability to run that fast for a reason.
Your 450W VS series PSU is more than enough for your system even with the upgraded graphics card.
You don't sound like you need a new PSU.
If you want a new PSU because you want a quieter model, what case does your system have?

PSU availability (and so pricing) is all over the place at the moment, thanks to you-know-what.
A Corsair RMx or RM (2019) PSU would be my go-to recommendation here. They are excellent quality, have 10-year warranties iirc, and are very quiet. They are semi-passive which means they can generally cool themselves without needing to use the fan at all.
It looks like you got that PC from PC Specialist. They may be able to sell you one as an upgrade.
Otherwise there are a lot of other tech retailers in the UK that will sell you one.
But just to reiterate, it doesn't sound like your PSU is overheating, just working a little harder than it did before.

Thanks, PC specialist have the 750w RM series for £101, looked else where and PC specialist seems to be by far the cheapest.
+1 for this! I've got a hugely overspec one (850W when my peak power draw is maybe 400W - never worked it out precisely). The fan never turns on. Really cool modular plug system too for a nice tidy case. It was expensive but I've never regretted the purchase.
