Plate cover for gpu

Currently have the 2080ti below but wondering if ur able to put a cover on as below would this effect the card? Plate is not the same as below just general idea for you all

Backplates are made for GPUs to aid with cooling. You can check whether your manufacturer makes one for your model; or perhaps an aftermarket one will fit, but may void the warranty.

GPU backplates afaicr tend to be mostly cosmetic with a minimal impact on temperatures, and can sometimes worsen temperatures. It depends if and how they've been set up by the manufacturer.

Where is this backplate from? How does it claim to attach?

Most backplates you'll find on sale are for part of a liquid cooling setup.

this is one example but he has all dimensions for the card and apparently its attached by 5 or six little screws
