PCG, we do not care about your political opinions.

@mikeimouss ....... This is a gaming site and as such anything controversial , none game related or just obvious spam will be removed asap and i think that this is the right thing to do ........ their are plenty of other websites to go to where users can stand on a box and wave a big stick to get themselves noticed.

A lot of the moderators are in different time zones so their is always somebody looking out for stuff that does not belong here and i think it fair to say that a lot of things will have been deleted before you ever got to see them.

A few days ago a group of people were posting airline related spam and although it was wrong it was quiet funny to watch because as soon as they posted they were taken off and a one point the whole first page was airline spam.

His comments weren't blocked here.
He is talking about the articles and comments to those go to another site. Unlike other Future forums, those never posted here. They have always used another place for comments on articles/news. Hence Zed makes a thread about articles once a month as otherwise there would be no advertising here of what is on front page.

Its also possible the comments thread was never created, and so he had no where to respond apart from here.

Especially when you write political articles about No Rest for the Wicked and then you close the comments.
That guy, like me sometimes, just needs to stop posting. He very clearly left the impression that they were on the verge of shutting down, and then he tried to backtrack those statements. Granted, they had a publisher until a few weeks ago, but that game has sold extremely well, and they shouldn't be in any financial danger.

The article did make it more political than it needed to be. The only political thing that the guy said was something along the lines that he got called a ****(Not-Zee) for not having any trans characters. That's probably not that far from the truth, but he should have just left that alone. Now that there's no publisher, he needs to learn to communicate better.

Political or not, the drama around that dude and No Rest for The Wicked isnt made up. If you read his tweets, past discords, past articles and who he actually does blame for the game doing bad, you'd see theres something there. The game has never really reached over 10k on steam and even the latest update didnt bring in all that much and i wouldnt be suprised if the person mentioned here is somewhat apart of that reason.

Regardless of concurrent player counts, the lowest industry estimate for sales is around 900k, and the average of the 3 estimates I usually see as fairly accurate is that it's sold about 1.1 million copies. If there's a problem with money, it must be that their deal with the publisher (and getting out of that deal) must have cost them dearly.

As far as crazy posting goes, I can't really deny that. The guy is a loose canon.

From a quick scan through the reviews no one mentioned anything about the developer, they just like that the game got a big new update.
I could be wrong, but that's an insane percentage of the overall number of reviews for a game that's been out for a little more than a year. He didn't ask them to support him. He just said he needed good reviews of the game, and it looks like they delivered.
