Nvidia App Installation Questions

Hi guys. I read an article online today that after 20 or so years, Nvidia has officially retired it's Control Panel as of today, and is going forward with the fairly new Nvidia App. My laptop has an Nvidia RTX 5060 and I am on GRD (Game-Ready Driver) 596.49. How do I go about installing the Nvidia App? Do I need to uninstall the old Nvidia Control Panel beforehand? Thoughts and help appreciated 🙂

You don't need to do anything but download and install the new app.

I've been using it since it launched and it is much, much better than the old GeForce Experience.

Unfortunately, this follows the same path of Microsoft in taking away advanced controls by the user, as a lot of what was in the Control Panel is not in the App.

They not completely removing the Control Panel, it will be available for Professionals and or Companies that rely on it for their work. Some software needs to be altered to work with new App.

that doesn't help individuals.
